I haven't updated in a WHILE.
With Twitter and Facebook, I think everyone knows whats on the go anyway! I figured I would check up on the blog and see what was up since I have some time on my hands right now.
I feel like I can say this here, because very few people if ANY people read this, so my chances of humiliation are less than if I posted it on facebook (which would cause about 75 of my music school friends to have a lesser opinion of me)!
I really don't like it when people judge others musical tastes. Its like tastebuds... you're just born with them. And why the HECK to you think there are all different types of music anyway? Sorry - that is one thing I will NOT miss about music school.
Here goes - I like the Jonas Brothers. Okay... like is an understatement. I'm loving them right now. I know their demographic is like... 13 year old girls, but I just love their music. Its so fun, and light hearted. I can listen to it and just have a good time. Most of their songs don't have a deep meaning, they're not talking about sex and drinking and Nick is only 16 (he writes most of their stuff) so he hasn't "lived" enough to write really deep things. Its the only music that I can listen to without thinking about something or someone. You have no idea how hard that is for me to do.
So there you have it. I love the Jonas Brothers. Judge all you want, but I think they're awesome.
Also, I've been into Demi Lovato. Yes, she's the girl from Camp Rock. But its the same with her. Exactly the same. I love the attitude they bring to the business these days. "I'm no supermodel, I still eat McDonalds". They're real people. Its FUN okay. I'm having FUN with it.
I appreciate good music. And insane talent. For instance - I own the new Dave Matthew Band CD - Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. Its genius. So good!

I will never judge you for Jonas love! Although I haven't gotten into them, I KNOW what it feels like to be judged because of my Hanson! haha. I haven't heard any Demi but have heard she is good. I am obsessed with Taylor Swift now. Whatever, like what you want!
PS some of my Hanson friends waited outside a hotel for 60 hours on the street and met all of Jonas and got pictures with them. haha. Same pple that sleep outside for front row at Hanson :P It's FUN!
