Well I'm here safe and sound! The flight over was good. But I'm all fooled up because I usually get the early morning flight, but this time we booked in the afternoon. And by the time we stopped over in Halifax and arrived here, and drove to my Uncles house it was about 7 O'Clock. Which would be 8:30 NL time. But it was really strange because I usually get here at like 11 local time. So it was a weird kind of Jet lag.
But anyway, I'm here now, we kind of lazed around this morning because Uncle Bob and Janet are building a patio, so the rest of us just hung out inside and out. Both today and yesterday were very sunny, but when the clouds come and the sun goes away its a bit chilly. And the wind is cool too... just like home!
This afternoon we're either going to walk to the burlington mall about 1km away, or were going to go Grocery shopping. Either one is cool! haha I'm a loser.
Well yesterday in the plane I was looking out through the window when we were 40 000 feet about the ground and it was scary. When there were no clouds in the way you could see allll the way to the land below. and also, when the clouds wern't in the way you could see all the way up into the blue sky, until it wasn't even that light pretty blue color. That is what freaked me out. You know you never realize how small you are until you see something like that. I saw the sky turning black and I though "wow, if you go up and up you'll be outside the whole earth." I guess I always see outter space on TV, but never really understand that it is really out there, and it is so huge that it makes you feel so unimportant.
And when I wasn't looking out the window, I was reading John Ortberg's "If you Want to Walk on Water, You've got to get out of the Boat". and he said that no matter who we are or how small and unimportant we think we are, everyone of us was born to fufill a purpose and everyone was made equal in God's eyes. And thats cool when you're looking down on every little town we flew over (even big places like Boston and New York).
I always knew that, but it dosn't hurt to be reminded once in a while.
Later Days! :)
